About TF2 Drop Reset Countdown

TF2 Drop Reset Countdown is a small, independent website made by a Team Fortress 2 player for the TF2 community. It started as a simple answer to a question that comes up in every TF2 group chat: "When do drops reset?" Because the weekly reset happens at the same moment worldwide, it lands on a different day and hour depending on where you live, and that causes a lot of confusion. A live countdown that converts the time to your own time zone solves that instantly.

What you will find here

• A live countdown to the weekly item drop reset, shown in your local time.
• Optional reminders through browser push notifications, so you never forget to use your weekly drops.
• Beginner-friendly guides on the drop system, crafting and metal, item qualities and Free-to-Play vs Premium accounts.

How we write our guides

Our guides are written from hands-on experience with the game and checked against what players observe in-game. Some details of the drop system, such as the exact drop rate, have never been published officially by Valve, so where a number is an estimate we say so. When the game changes, we update the affected pages and note the date at the top of each guide.

If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, please let us know through the contact page. Corrections from the community are always welcome.

How the site is funded

The website is free to use. To cover hosting and the notification service, the site may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. Ads never change the content of our guides. You can learn more about advertising and cookies in our Privacy Policy.
